I'm delighted to share with you these 3 simple ideas for coming back to yourself, all you need is a couple of minutes a day...
"And forget not that the earth delights to feel your bare feet and the winds long to play with your hair.."
At least twice a day take a 5-10 minute break, to retreat from whatever you are doing and relax into tranquility. You can pause with a herbal tea, sit and look out your window, go for a walk or sit somewhere and close your eyes. Come back to your breath, come back to your body. Taking these little pauses during the day will center and balance you. They will also be your oasis where you can retreat to when you are agitated or worried, keeping you grounded at any moment.
Spend time in Silence
To keep yourself tuned into your inner spirit, it is vital (especially in this fast-paced world) to cherish some moments of silence throughout your day. You can start by spending the early morning hours (or even 15 minutes before the kids wake up) in silence. Avoid checking your emails and your cell phone.
Try to eat one meal a day alone – without checking your emails, listening to the radio, or to music or reading. It will be just you and your food. Giving space to silence as part of your daily life will become a serene stillness that you will carry inside you always.
Follow a butterfly
Whenever you see a butterfly, stop what you are doing and follow its movement with your eyes, and continue to do so until it disappears from sight. It’s a beautiful practice that not only will make you smile but will also bring you back to yourself and the present moment.
Flow with ease my friend,
