"She felt the water as it came into contact with her face, her hair, her fingertips. She was weightless, floating gently - part of a huge body of sea, her body moving up and down as she breathed in and out through her mouth. Her eyes melted softly into the warmth of her body, her breath became deeper as she connected to the dynamic stillness underwater..."
The unique mindful diving experience I offer you during our yoga and diving retreats is calm, slow & nourishing. Together we will take the time to slow down, feel and experience the sensation of wholeness - being one with our breath, mind, body and fluids – the water within us and the water all around us.
Personally, diving has become so much more than just getting in the water and looking for fishes or underwater critters.
Diving has become a mindful practice, a deep meditative state, where I am completely aware of everything around me. I have also noticed that as I stay centered with myself underwater, I no longer need to look for underwater critters or fish, funny enough, they just seem to find me!
During our yoga and diving retreats we get a chance to connect to this unique diving experience, bringing our awareness underwater in some spectacular dive sites. Our diving and yoga retreat north Bali will feature some amazing dives at the Liberty Wreck in Tulamben, and macro dives in the unspoilt northern east coast of Bali.
In this small group yoga retreat Bali all levels are welcome: certified divers to beginners level, and those with no diving experience who desire to learn and explore.
We also practice being mindful underwater in the crystal clear waters of the Philippines, in our yoga retreat in Palawan island, the mindful practice is the same, the only difference is the underwater diversity – the corals, fish species and critters. A real extraordinary experience!
Being mindful underwater and above connects us to a deeper aspect of ourselves, to the here and now, to our body sensation and breath and to living in the present moment.
Flow with ease my friend,
